Boxin delivered a high-capacity 2000kg/h turnkey solution to Cambodia for processing post-consumer agricultural films and woven bags into high-quality PP/PE granules.
Challenge: Processing Soft Plastics
The client needs to recycle huge volumes of waste LDPE films and PP woven bags. These "soft plastics" present unique challenges compared to rigid bottles:
- Moisture Retention: Thin films trap water easily, making them hard to dry efficiently for the extruder.
- Feeding Difficulty: Fluffy, light plastic flakes often bridge or clog standard extruder hoppers, causing unstable output.
- High Contamination: Agricultural films often contain significant soil and sand residues.
The Solution: Squeezing Technology
To handle the 2000kg/h throughput, Boxin integrated a Film Squeezing Dryer (Compactor) into the line. This key machine mechanically dewaters and semi-plasticizes the material.

Process Detail: From Waste to Pellets
The complete line includes crushing, friction washing, and floating separation tanks to remove dirt. The cleaned flakes are then processed by the Squeezing Dryer, which converts fluffy flakes into dense "popcorn" granules. These dense granules are then easily fed into the pelletizing extruder, ensuring a stable, high-output production of uniform recycled pellets.
