The incoming raw material is heavily contaminated, containing large amounts of mud, oil stains, food residue, and various caps and labels. This image shows the actual material condition used by the customer. As seen, nearly all bottles are severely polluted. |
Crushed caps are separately collected through the float-sink separation tank and can be sold as a by-product. |
The customer did not select an optical material sorter, so non-PET materials must be manually removed before the raw material enters the crusher. |
With the optical color sorter, the final output consists of blue and clear PET flakes. |
