A: We integrated a high-efficiency Trommel Machine and specialized Pre-washer at the beginning of the line. These units remove over 90% of loose sand and heavy mud before the bottles enter the crusher, significantly reducing blade wear and protecting downstream equipment.

Q2: Water is expensive in Saudi Arabia. How is water consumption managed?

A: Our system is designed with a closed-loop water circulation filtration system. Process water from the rinsing tanks is filtered and reused in the pre-washing stage. This design drastically lowers fresh water consumption while maintaining cleaning efficiency.

Q3: Can manual sorting achieve fiber-grade quality without optical sorters?

A: Yes, but it requires rigorous management. For this project, we designed extended manual sorting platforms with optimized lighting. Workers effectively remove non-PET materials (like PVC, metal) before crushing. The subsequent hot washing and float-sink tanks ensure the final flakes meet the purity standards for polyester staple fiber production.

Q4: What is the final moisture content of the flakes?

A: The line is equipped with a high-speed centrifugal dewatering machine and a hot air pipe drying system. The final PET flakes have a moisture content of less than 1%, making them immediately ready for the spinning or pelletizing process.
