Project Background & Challenge
The client processes waste cement bags, which present two major pain points: high dust residue causing wear, and extreme toughness causing tangling.
- High Abrasion: Heavy dust/sand residue leads to rapid equipment wear.
- Tangling & Clogging: Tough woven bags wrap around shafts, causing frequent downtime.
- Quality Issue: High moisture content affects downstream pelletizing quality.

FAQ: Common Project Concerns
Q1: My cement bags have huge amounts of powder residue. Will the water tank turn into concrete sludge?
A: This is a common concern. For this Pakistan project, we installed a specialized "Pre-washing & Sedimentation System" before the main washer. It separates 80% of the mud/powder instantly, preventing it from entering the fine washing stage. We also designed a continuous sludge discharge system at the tank bottom to avoid solidification.
Q2: Cement bags are abrasive. How often did the client need to change crusher blades?
A: Standard blades might fail in 3-5 days. However, by using our customized D2 Cryogenic Treated Blades, this client achieved a lifespan of 2-3 weeks between sharpening cycles, significantly reducing downtime and maintenance costs.
Q3: Is the recycled PP material dry enough for immediate pelletizing?
A: Yes. The line ends with a heavy-duty Squeezing Dryer. It reduces moisture content to <3%, which perfectly meets the requirements for our downstream pelletizing extruder, ensuring no bubbles in the final pellets.
Q4: Can this same line process other materials like jumbo bags (FIBC)?
A: Yes, the heavy-duty design allows it to process jumbo bags as well. However, since jumbo bags are tougher, we may adjust the crusher's motor load settings and screen size. Our engineers provided this client with preset configurations for different materials.
