Plastic Bottle Label Remover Process

The label remover uses a mechanical friction and cutting principle, compatible with various types of plastic bottle labels (shrink sleeves, adhesive labels, etc.) and supports both dry and wet operation modes.

Note: This machine is not suitable for paper labels. Paper labels often have a film coating and use strong adhesives (commonly found on HDPE bottles). In such cases, label removal requires crushing, timed hot washing, and friction washing.

Principle Overview:
Rotating Cutter Shaft with Anti-Wrapping Design:
The core of the machine is a high-speed rotating cutter shaft (up to 1000 rpm) equipped with tungsten carbide claw-shaped blades. Labels are torn apart by centrifugal and shear forces.

After shredding, labels separate from the bottle body and are conveyed to the recovery system by airflow or other separation methods. The labels can be sold separately as by-products.

High-Frequency Mechanical Scrubbing:
Labels are repeatedly impacted and rubbed off from the bottle surface.
This process achieves a label removal efficiency of over 90-95%, even for fully film-wrapped bottles.

Adaptable to Various Bottle Shapes and Label Materials:
The machine can process round bottles, compressed bottles, and other types of recycled bottles.
