Trommel for plastic recycling
The trommel screen serves as the primary physical separation unit at the front end. Through the tumbling and screening of materials inside the rotating drum, it efficiently removes large foreign particles and fine sand or soil, acting as the first “filtering barrier” to ensure the entire line’s capacity and product quality.
Without a trommel screen, valuable equipment such as crushers and friction washers suffer severe wear. This increases the impurity load, disrupts the stability of rinsing and water treatment systems, lowers the purity of the final product, and raises energy consumption and maintenance costs.
