Boxin Machery's PET washing line
The key to recovering virgin material from waste plastics is the removal of impurities.
Impurities include environmental contaminants, other materials attached to the original plastic product, and heterochromatic homogeneous materials. The higher the purity, the higher the quality of the downstream products, and the lower the manufacturing costs and losses of the downstream products.
After processing in Boxin's pet bottle washing line, the total impurities of the final bottle flakes are less than 100ppm and the water content is less than 1.5%~3%.
The finished PET flakes can be sold directly or made into high quality pellets by using the pelletizing system.
The PET bottle washing line of 500~1000kg/h is usually not equipped with unpacking machine but adopts manual self unpacking and feeding into the belt conveyor.
The stripper is mainly used to peel off the label paper on the surface of the PET bottle, especially the PVC or PS label applied to the PET bottle. Through the cooperation of the movable knife and the fixed knife, the label on the bottle body is peeled off together, and the difference between wind and gravity is used to completely separate the bottle body and the label, preserve the integrity of the bottle and the bottleneck, and reduce the loss of high-quality bottle top materials.
The final sorting and screening of bottles before crushing removes the small amount of foreign matter (including heterogeneous bottles, bottles with different colors, small amounts of label shavings, metal reactants, garbage, etc.) remaining in the front-end units.
Crusher set for wet crushing, in addition to the use of water impact to strengthen the PET debris cleaning effect, but also due to the cooling effect of water to reduce friction heat, so that the knife to reduce wear and tear to extend the service life.
The “Hot Washer” utilizes heat, chemical and mechanical forces. The friction between the bottles and the shear force of the vortex of the chemical water will make the impurities to be separated from the surface of the bottles and removed by centrifugal dewatering. The removed water can be reused immediately after simple filtration, which greatly saves the cost of pharmaceuticals.
Remove the agent left on the surface of the bottle in the first section of the hot float wash, as well as some separated suspended matter after friction, the addition of water to the bottle for a final and thorough cleaning, to ensure the purity and transparency of the bottle.
Through the dehydration equipment, the water content of bottles and flakes before packaging can be within 1.5%-2%, and the suction labeling machine removes the film and light substances from the bottles and flakes to achieve the optimal quality of the finished product. (If you want to control the moisture within 1%, you need to equip with drying system).
